Football Pick of the Day (October 27th): NFL Week 8 Total Bet
Carolina Panthers vs Green Bay Packers
8:15pm – Thursday – October 29th
We cashed on a Monday Night Football over with no sweat at all. The Eagles and Cowboys blew by their 44.5 point projection with the Cowboys nearly taking care of it all by themselves. Now we’re moving on to Thursday Night Football with a similar mentality.
The Panthers seem to get in shootouts every time they play lately. Over the last three weeks, their games are averaging 51.0 points. A lot of the reasoning can be drawn back to Bryce Young. He likes to take chances down the field, which both gives them chances to score and opens him up to make mistakes. Whichever way that goes on Thursday, it should mean points for the over.
The Packers should help the point totals as well. They have averaged 23.7 points per game over their last three and now have an extra week of Josh Jacobs practicing to work in. With the Packers leading the NFL in takeaways, they should get some short fields too.
NFL Total Pick (October 27th): Over 47.5 Points (-115)
