Daily NBA Player Props – October 26th
Trae Young – Over 20.5 Points (-110)
Young seems to have found his footing as the main scoring option for the new-look Wizards. He’s now seen back-to-back games as their lead scorer and hit the over in both of those. The Hornets have been pretty tight on defense this season, but I’m not sure I’d bank on a season-low for Young. Look for him to get going early and clear this without much sweat.
Rudy Gobert – Over 8.5 Rebounds (+100)
Once and a while, the books over-correct given the opponents. The Cavaliers have a big frontcourt and are expected to rebound well. As a result, they have dropped Rudy Gobert’s rebounds to 8.5. He has not come in under that number in any of the three games and is currently averaging 12.3 per. Cleveland has also not done what was expected of them on the glass so far. They rank in the bottom third of the league in rebounding percentage. That should open up enough for Gobert to get his nine.
Ty Jerome – Over 26.5 Points (-110)
We’re going to just keep riding this one until the wheels fall off or the books catch up. Jerome has not scored less than 28 points in a game yet this season and he went off for another 31 on Sunday. That brings his scoring average down to 34.7 per game. The Jazz have the fifth worst points against average in the league – allowing 124.7 points per game. It feels like Jerome should be able to match his average with that in mind.
