After a full week off (actually eight days), the WNBA Playoffs are finally back in action tomorrow afternoon, with Game 1 of the WNBA Finals going down in the Bay. For my best bet for Saturday (Oct 17th): NHL Predictions, we’re off to the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Let’s get this money!

#4 Atlanta Dream vs #2 Golden State Valkyries
Start Time: 3:30 PM EST
Just as everyone predicted, the WNBA Finals will be a matchup between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries. Sarcasm. The Dream making the Finals isn’t a huge stretch, as they were at +550 to win the WNBA Championship heading into this season, the fourth-shortest odds in the league. But those lucky punters who are holding +3300 tickets on the Valkyries to win the title…
I like those lucky people to be one game closer to cashing their bet after tomorrow’s action. Golden State was 17-5 playing at the Chase Center this season, the best home mark in the league. And the Valkyries have won all four of their home games on this run to the Finals.
After crunching the numbers, my line is Golden State -3.5 for tomorrow, but I’d add a point or two to that if the Dream’s top scorer, Allisha Gray, remains out with a hand injury.
