College Football Pick Of The Day (October 15th): NCAA Week 7 Total Pick
For today’s college football pick of the day for Week 7, I’m looking at the Penn State vs. Michigan Game. Penn State comes in at 3-3 and 0-3 in conference play after three straight losses. The offense has sputtered since Big Ten play started, and the run game has been pretty ineffective.
Michigan is 3-2 and 0-2 in conference play, coming off a bye after back-to-back losses to Iowa and Minnesota. Their offense has been limited, and Bryce Underwood and the entire unit have failed to sustain drives in the past few weeks.
Michigan’s defense is the best unit in this game and has kept opponents in check all season. Penn State’s defense has also been solid against the pass. Both teams have offensive limitations, injuries, and a history of grind-it-out, low-scoring type games. The Big House setting and cool weather should reinforce the low-scoring. I don’t see how this game gets to 42.5 since I don’t see either team getting over 21 points. This feels like a 20-13 type of game.
The Pick: Under 42.5 Points
