Football Pick of the Day (October 15th): NFL Week 6 Moneyline Pick
Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars
9:30am – Sunday – October 18th
It seems like given all of the recent results that the Jaguars should be a lot bigger than a -140 favorite for the game in London on Sunday. Just about everything is pointing in their direction in a big way with the exception of the odds.
For one, I love that the Jaguars did not need to travel for this one. They played the Eagles last week in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and now take a hop, skip, and jump across town to Wembley Stadium. The international travel has notoriously taken a lot out of teams, which should give them a massive advantage here.
In addition, you have to like the way Jacksonville is trending. They took out the Eagles on a Cam Little bomb to end the game Sunday. That makes it three straight, with other wins coming against the Bengals and the Patriots. With the Texans just scrapping together their first win of the season last week – over a fellow 0-4 squad – it’s hard to understand why anyone would think this would be close.
