We have a matchup between two of the NHL’s elite teams on tomorrow’s lean schedule, so that’s a plus. The Dallas Stars and the Colorado Avalanche wrap up their home-and-home back-to-back series in Denver tomorrow, with the Avalanche up on the Stars in Texas as these words are being typed on Tuesday night.
Colorado played Tuesday night without their star defenseman Cale Makar, who left to be with his wife, who was giving birth to twins. Hopefully he’ll be back in action tomorrow night (playing hockey sounds like less work than dealing with twins). Regardless, I’m going with the Avs tomorrow, Makar or no Makar.
The better team (in my eyes), playing on their home ice (at elevation on the second night of a back-to-back), I like Colorado on the moneyline as my best bet for Wednesday.
