Florida Panthers vs Buffalo Sabres
Start Time: 1:00 PM EST
This was supposed to be a bounce-back season for the Florida Panthers, but they have already lost Aleksandar Barkov (again) and Brad Marchand to long-term injuries.
That means it’s time for Sam Reinhart to step up. Generally good for 30ish goals a season, Reinhart has been blanked thus far this year. With the level of player he is, and the amount of shots he gets on net, his luck is bound to change.
Ottawa Senators vs New Jersey Devils
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Like Reinhart, the Ottawa Senators’ Tim Stützle is also a reliable goal scorer. Unlike Reinhart, Stützle has come out of the gate on fire, with four goals and four assists in five games.
Sure, his luck is bound to change, just like Reinhart’s, but let’s hope it doesn’t tomorrow night in the swamp against the New Jersey Devils, a team that allowed six and five goals in back-to-back games earlier this season.
