Vegas Golden Knights vs Seattle Kraken
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
We’ve got some Pacific Division action going down in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow evening, as the 2-1 Vegas Golden Knights meet the 2-1 Seattle Kraken. The Golden Knights are 1-0 on the road, the Kraken 1-0 at home, so something has to give in this one.
And the thing that will give, in my opinion, is the Kraken’s perfect home record. Not only is the Stanley Cup runner-up, Vegas, expected to be a much better team than Seattle this season (103.5-point projection vs. 81.5 points), but VGK dominates the Kraken historically, going 13-3-3 lifetime against the nascent franchise.
Plus, according to MoneyPuck, the Golden Knights are the biggest lock on tomorrow’s busy nine-game NHL slate, with the site projecting their win probability at 64.6%, while the odds we’re getting are only set at 62.4%, making this a value play.
Therefore, Vegas on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
