Football Pick of the Day (October 3rd): NFL Week 4 Moneyline Pick
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals
1:00pm – Sunday – October 4th
The Bengals return home after dropping their first game of the season in Pittsburgh last weekend. They are barely favorites against the Jaguars, who are on a nice little run for themselves.
Despite being at home, I don’t trust Cincinnati here. Sure, they only lost to the Steelers by three points, but the Steelers have looked terrible all season. Their offense has struggled to get going even against bad defenses, but had no issues ripping the Bengals for 30 points and nearly 300 yards in the air. Jaylen Warren put up nearly eight yards per carry against them and three different receivers found the end zone.
Now that same swiss cheese defense is going to have to try to limit Trevor Lawrence and gang, who casually hung 35 on the Patriots last week. Not only did they put up numbers, but they intentionally milked the clock and likely could have gone for more. Additionally, the Jaguars rank 3rd in the league in takeaways and 8th in sacks. That extra pressure should give them what they need to pull out the underdog win on the road.
