I’m targeting teams with expected weak goaltending and/or defenses in the early days of the season until we get a lay of the land. One of those teams would be the Connor Hellybuck-less Winnipeg Jets, who will be starting Stuart Skinner tomorrow against the visiting Boston Bruins.
Bruins center Elias Lindholm has had success lighting the lamp on Skinner in the regular season and the playoffs, so I’m going with him to score on Friday.
Anaheim Ducks vs Vegas Golden Knights
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
The Anaheim Ducks look like they’ll continue to be a club that gives up more than their share of goals this season, with Lukas Dostal sitting atop their goaltending depth chart.
The Vegas Golden Knights’ Jack Eichel has gotten off to a hot start, with three points including a goal in VGK’s opener. Let’s hope he stays up tomorrow.
