With no data to base anything off of yet this season, I’m going with vibes for my winning parlay tomorrow night. I’m parlaying two former MVPs, East Coast Canadian buddies, and Tim Hortons commercial co-stars.
First up, the ageless Sidney Crosby, who has lived up to his “Sid the Kid” moniker, as he’s showing no signs of slowing down as he nears 40.
Los Angeles Kings vs Colorado Avalanche

Ya, I’m going with the low-hanging fruit, and I’m adding the Colorado Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon to my play. The reigning Rocket Richard Trophy winner, Nathan MacKinnon, that is.
MacKinnon won his first goal-scoring crown last season by netting a career-high 53 goals. Let’s hope he stays hot right out of the gate this year.
