Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners

Start Time: 10:10 PM EST

Neither the Los Angeles Angels nor the Seattle Mariners will play after this Sunday, as neither team is making the postseason. This comes as no surprise for the Angels, because they were expected to suck (but not this bad; 60-98 is rough), but we expected more from the Mariners. Projected to win right around 90 games like last season, the M’s have limped to a 74-84 mark, guaranteeing their worst season since the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign.

However, for whatever it’s worth, I do like Seattle to get the win tomorrow at home against Los Angeles. The Mariners are a much better team playing at home (41-36 vs 33-48 on the road), and Friday’s starter Bryce Miller is on a nice little run, with only two earned runs allowed over his past two starts (10.1 innings).

Seattle on the moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
