Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles

Start Time: 6:35 PM EST

After a month and a half on the sidelines with a knee injury (and subsequent surgery), righty Trey Yesavage makes his return to the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays tomorrow evening in Baltimore to face the Orioles. But is it too little, too late for the Jays?

Sitting three games out of the last wildcard spot with only six games to play, more than likely Toronto isn’t going to get a chance to repeat their magical playoff run from last season. And with Yesavage only expected to pitch three or four innings on Monday, he’s not going to make a big impact, either.

But for the beleaguered Jays pitching staff, three or four innings will definitely help. And with Baltimore countering with Shane Baz, who has allowed eight earned runs over his past two starts (9.2 innings), I like the visitor’s chances at grabbing the W.

Toronto as a slight dog on the moneyline is my best bet for Monday.
