Just because I’m in a slump doesn’t mean I’ll make things easy on myself. I’m going with some less-than-obvious plays tomorrow for my home run bets. But that means it’ll be more rewarding when they hit.

We’ll start with Pittsburgh Pirates DH Ryan O’Hearn, who has a career-high 18 dingers this season. He also has two home runs in 10 career at-bats against tomorrow’s starter for the Kansas City Royals, Michael Wacha, who is among the league leaders in homers allowed this season.

Seattle Mariners vs Colorado Rockies

Start Time: 3:10 PM EST

I guess Randy Arozarena isn’t too crazy a choice to hit a home run – he does have 26 this season, after all, leading the Seattle Mariners in that category.

And not only is Arozarena hitting in the high altitude of Denver tomorrow, but Tomoyuki Sugano is starting for the Colorado Rockies, and his 31 home runs allowed is the fourth-most in the majors.
