Football Pick of the Day (September 17th): NFL Week 2 Spread Pick
Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills

Thursday Night Football features of a pair of high powered offenses that are going to be looking for a shootout yet again. Both the Bills and the Lions survived to tell the undefeated tale here in week two, but not without a bit of a sweat. So which team holds the advantage in the short week?
The Bills are the rightful favorites, playing at home following a trip to Texas. They showed out in Houston with tons of action through the air. Josh Allen tossed for 334 yards with five different receivers in double figures for yardage. Three of those receivers caught for at least 50 yards. That diversity of attack in the air, including the work of tight end Dalton Kincaid, really gives them a chance to score on every play and helps them stretch the field.
The Lions, on the other hand, really relied on the production of Jahmyr Gibbs. He accounted for nearly half of the Lions offense, which saw only one receiver – Amon-Ra St. Brown – end with more than 50 yards. He ended with 67 on the game.
With fewer ways to threaten the defense, I expect a double team on St. Brown and a packed box to stop the run. With the Bills having more ways to get into the end zone, they should cover without issue.
