Thursday Night Football Prop Bets Week 2 Recap
Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric) are back in the home studio. Prop specialist Scott Reichel (@ReichelRadio) joins them for Thursday Night Football props: Lions at Bills. They open on the NFL Week 1 fallout and the Mahomes knee. Then they build the card on Josh Allen, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jared Goff, Khalil Shakir, and Dalton Kincaid. They close with first-touchdown longshots and their DGen plays for the Week 2 opener in Buffalo.

The Broncos are still the story out of Week 1. Denver got out-tackled and out-penalized at Arrowhead, and Bo Nix threw an early interception. But the guys aren’t ready to write the season off after one ugly loss. The Mahomes knee theory didn’t hold up either. Everyone figured that surgically repaired knee would keep him in the pocket. Instead he ran a touchdown in, watched a penalty wipe it out, and ran right back in for another one. So it sets the mood for a Thursday night where both defenses showed up nowhere in Week 1.
Thursday Night Football Props: Josh Allen Headlines The Card
Scott’s headline prop is Josh Allen over 249.5 passing yards at -108. Allen threw for 334 against a Houston defense that had owned him historically. He’s gone over 251 in five straight home games. So Sean signs off on the same number. He points at a Lions secondary missing Branch and Joseph and dares anyone to trust it against DJ Moore, Dalton Kincaid, and Khalil Shakir. Kramer wants a different piece of Allen. He’s on 50-plus rushing yards at +320. The bet is the new-stadium energy plus a short week for Aidan Hutchinson and Detroit’s pass rush get Allen out of the pocket and moving his feet.
Sean Rides Gibbs, Scott Fades The Workload
Jahmyr Gibbs carried it 29 times for 156 yards in Week 1. Sean is betting Detroit goes right back to him: Gibbs over 18.5 rush attempts. His logic is simple. The Lions don’t have another back worth handing it to. But Scott takes the other side of that same workload. He’s on Gibbs under 21.5 first-quarter rushing yards at -120, a number that’s cashed eight of his last nine. His read is that Detroit eases Gibbs in early on the road and only leans on him late if the score stays close. Kramer plays the game script instead of the running back. He’s on Jared Goff over 35.5 pass attempts, betting Buffalo builds a lead and forces Detroit to throw to keep pace.
Kincaid Becomes The Bills’ Go-To Target
Dalton Kincaid put up 130 yards in Week 1, and Scott isn’t fading the follow-up. He likes Kincaid over 49.5 receiving yards, calling the number light for a player turning into Joe Brady’s clear top target. So Kramer likes the same player through a different door: Kincaid over 4.5 receptions. His argument is that if the tight end sees seven to nine targets a game, the catches take care of themselves. Sean’s third prop of the night stays in the red zone. He’s on Khalil Shakir to score anytime at +210, off three red zone targets in Week 1 against a Lions defense that still can’t cover anybody near the goal line.
The First-Touchdown Longshot Board
Everybody dug into the longshots. Scott’s board has Amon-Ra St. Brown at 10-1 and DJ Moore at 12-1 on the receiving side. Sean goes to Dawson Knox at 30-1 and Shakir again at 16-1, a second way for the same guy to score. His wild card is Detroit’s defense at 40-1, betting Allen finally coughs one up in his own building. Then Kramer rounds it out with Dalton Kincaid at 14-1 and Brock Wright at 60-1, the backup tight end everybody keeps circling back to if the Lions’ coverage breaks down again.
DGen Plays For Thursday Night
Scott’s degenerate play of the day is a reverse-correlation parlay. He’s on Bills moneyline with Jameson Williams over 80 receiving yards, a Williams touchdown, and under 3.5 catches. The bet is one big play gets Williams there while Buffalo still wins comfortably. Kramer keeps his simple: Dawson Knox and Brock Wright both to find the end zone, 62-to-1. His logic is a Lions defense that couldn’t cover a tight end all night gives up two more before the clock runs out.
