College Football Week 2 Big Game Fan Zone: Cy-Hawk Under the Lights
First, the guys give the Cy-Hawk rivalry most of the opening hour. Iowa is laying 14.5 at home, and the total sits at 40.5 for a night game at Kinnick. Donaldson makes the case that Iowa is the more settled program. He points to five NFL offensive linemen up front and a run game that should grind Iowa State down. Still, the room keeps circling one number. Iowa State has taken three of the last four in the series. So the guys agree the Hawkeyes come out with something to prove. Final-score guesses land in the low 20s and even single digits, and the under gets plenty of love.
Ohio State at Texas: Can Sark Fix the Red Zone?
Then comes the game they figure might be the most-watched of the season. Texas sits as a short 1.5-point favorite, and the total is 48.5. The honest debate is whether Steve Sarkisian can fix a Texas red-zone offense that has stalled inside the 20 for years. Arch Manning still piles up yards between the 20s, but the points have not followed. Donaldson leans Buckeyes and points at the Ohio State defense near the goal line. Meanwhile, McIntyre plays the revenge angle and takes Texas. The props segment is where they have the most fun, from Manning and Julian Sayin passing numbers to a Bo Jackson rushing angle. Both sides see a low-scoring grinder, with final scores clustered around 20-13 and 24-20.

Between the football, the show does exactly what it set out to do. Donaldson counters with the Iowa City version, which is basically a Busch Light and a 7 a.m. tailgate that never really stops. It plays like a rivalry-week hang for anyone who loves the atmosphere as much as the line. Then the guys send listeners to both guests before signing off.
