Football Pick of the Day (September 5th): NCAA Moneyline Pick
Wyoming Cowboys vs Colorado State Rams
6:00pm – Saturday – September 5th
It’s hard to look back at Colorado State from last year and deduce anything for this season. That’s because they completely revamped their offense with the transfer portal. 10 of the 11 projected starters for the Rams were on a different roster last year. While it’s impossible to know how they’ll mesh, there’s a lot of talent to like there.
The Colorado State offense will be led by a pair of former four-star recruits. Graduate transfer Jordan Mosley made stops at Northwestern and Mississippi before heading to Fort Collins. They also snagged Hauss Hejny after he spent time with TCU and Oklahoma State. While neither got the time they wanted prior, they both come with all the raw abilities you’d be hoping for to bring some heat for Colorado State.
Wyoming was not nearly as busy. They took their 4-8 squad from last year and largely stood pat. With as much trouble as they had scoring the ball last year, I can’t imagine that things will be good enough to keep up with Colorado State’s new firepower.
