Three Super Bowl Long Shot Bets That Could Win

Three Super Bowl Long Shot Bets That Could Win

The NFL season is right around the corner, and 32 teams will start competing to win Super Bowl LXI. We all know who the favorites are. In fact, +500 is the shortest odds. However, there are plenty of teams sitting at +2000 or worse that could have a shot. Let’s take a look at three Super Bowl long shot bets who could end up winning it all!

Three Super Bowl Long Shot Bets That Could Win

Denver Broncos (+2000)

The Denver Broncos went 14-3 last year and got the number one seed on the AFC side of the playoffs. They defeated the Bills 33-30 in overtime in the divisional round. However, Bo Nix broke his ankle in that win. The Broncos went on to face the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game with Jarrett Stidham as their starting quarterback.

Stidham is not Bo Nix. He went 17/31 and threw for 133 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He had a 19.6 QBR at the end of the day. The Patriots loaded up and focused on stopping the run, and it was all they needed to do. However, that Broncos defense was so good that the Broncos only lost by three points in a 10-7 grind-it-out matchup.

Heading into 2026, the Broncos are one of my favorite long-shot Super Bowl bets at 20/1. Bo Nix is expected back from the ankle injury. The Broncos also went out and got him a field-stretching wide receiver in Jaylen Waddle. Not only will this help Bo Nix, but it will also open up more opportunities for the already productive Courtland Sutton.

The defense should be just as good as well. Yes, they have to play a first-place schedule. However, all they have to do is get into the playoff race. At that point, everybody is 0-0. I don’t expect them to get another 14 wins. However, I do expect them to stay competitive and make the playoffs.

Chicago Bears (+2400)

The next team on my long-shot Super Bowl bets may be considered a bit of a homer pick. However, I disagree. I think the Bears hype is justified. Last year was Ben Johnson’s first time as a head coach. He came in to take over a Bears team that had some playmakers, just hadn’t been able to utilize them properly. Johnson changed all of that.

The Bears went 11-6, won the NFC North, and pushed in to the divisional round of the playoffs. They had a lot of fourth-quarter comebacks last year. Which is one of the reasons a lot of analysts are expecting them to regress this year. However, Ben Johnson knows they are the number one regression candidate.

The offensive line was a top unit last year, and despite some turnover, should be equally as good this year. They can run the ball well. They have a plethora of weapons in the passing game, including Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, and Colston Loveland. Plus, say what you want, Caleb Williams is a superstar. Does he have things to clean up? Of course. Most young players do. He’s still a superstar.

The defense will need to improve. They added speed at linebacker, had a decent draft, and should be healthier at cornerback. The safety spots should also be better, despite losing Coby Bryant for the year. At 24/1, there are worse teams with shorter odds you could put money on. The Bears have a window, and for the first time in my lifetime, maybe I’ll see them win one.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3000)

The final team on my Super Bowl bets list of long shots is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are like the Bears in a way. Last year they had a new head coach in Liam Coen and had a very successful season. They finished 13-4, but fell to the Bills in the Wild Card round by three points.

Trevor Lawrence had one of his best seasons under Coen and should be even better entering his second year in the system. They also have a bunch of weapons in the pass-catching game. It will be interesting to see how the offense looks without lead running back Travis Etienne. Bhayshul Tuten is expected to take over and will look to capitalize on the big-play ability flashes he showed last year.

On defense, the Jaguars have some playmakers. Josh Hines-Allen is one of the best edge setters in the league and continues to perform at a high level. This offense was humming last year, and I don’t expect them to falter. At 30/1, they have a better shot than teams above them, such as the 49ers and Lions (19/1).
