I’m going in on a couple of short-statured former MVPs who have seen better days tomorrow. The first is the Houston Astros’ diminutive second baseman Jose Altuve.

The 36-year-old Altuve only has 13 home runs this season, but he hit one on Thursday, so maybe he’s heating up? More importantly, he’s taken tomorrow’s starter for the San Diego Padres, Robbie Ray, yard twice in his career.

Best Bet: Jose Altuve (+680)

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Arizona Diamondbacks

Start Time: 9:40 PM EST

Next up is the slightly taller (but who isn’t taller than Altuve?!) Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who also has only 13 dingers this season. But Betts gets to bat against the Arizona Diamondbacks Merrill Kelly tomorrow, and that’s a good thing.

Kelly has allowed 23 home runs this season, the eighth most in the majors. And Betts has four career long balls against the righty. Let’s make it five tomorrow night in the desert.
