Connecticut Sun vs Chicago Sky
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Sun vs Sky – how can you choose one or the other?! Don’t they go hand in hand? But we have to make that tough choice tomorrow, as the Connecticut Sun visit the Chicago Sky in the Windy City (sky, sun, and wind!). The season series between the two teams is tied at a game apiece, with the Sun somehow beating the Sky by 29 points last time out.
Which is amazing, because the Connecticut Sun are not good at basketball. If not for the Seattle Storm, the 7-21 Sun would be the worst team in the league, which the advanced stats rate them as anyhow. And while the 9-18 Sky aren’t much better record-wise, the stats like them much better than their record indicates.
Just like the NBA, there are a buttload of key players out of action tomorrow for both sides, so we’ll just chalk that up as a wash. After crunching the numbers, my line is Chicago -8, so I like the Sky to cover the spread at home tomorrow night.
