We’re hitting up the early game of the day, down in Hotlanta (don’t worry – the stadium has a roof), as England faces Congo DR for the first time in men’s international competition. Is it coming home, or will Congo DR pull off the massive upset?

I don’t know, and I don’t care. Well, I do know – I, like everyone else, expect England to handle Congo DR and advance to the Round of 16. But a -350 moneyline is of no interest to me. While the spread of 1.5 goals is probably a solid play, I’m not playing that, either, for my best bet.

Instead, I’m going with a play on the total, which has been profitable for me this tournament. England has gone under 2.5 goals in seven of their last nine games, including two of their three World Cup matches. Congo DR were also under 2.5 goals in two of their three group-stage games.
