Atlanta Dream vs Golden State Valkyries

Start Time: 10:00 PM EST

The Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries are in the middle of a “baseball series” in the Bay, with the Valkyries handling the top team in the Eastern Conference, the 12-5 Dream, in Game 1 on Wednesday, winning 77-66.

The second-year Valkyries are having themselves a season as well, going 11-7 thus far, which is only good for fourth place in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. While they snuck up on teams in the franchise’s first year of existence last year, this season teams are prepared for them, yet they keep on winning.

And I’m counting on Golden State to keep on winning tomorrow, as well, and sweep the home portion of their season series against Atlanta. The advanced stats have the Dream a couple of points per game better than the Valkyries, but the home-court advantage eliminates that and tips the scales into Golden State’s favor. My line is Golden State -1, so I’m taking the Valkyries on the spread.
