Golden State Valkyries vs Las Vegas Aces

Start Time: 4:00 PM EST

We head out west for our winning play tomorrow, with the second-year Golden State Valkyries visiting the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces. These are two of the best teams in the Western Conference, with the 11-4 Aces sitting in second place, and the 10-6 Valkyries in third.

But when you dig deeper, you see that Golden State has been the better team this season. They’ve faced a tougher schedule and have the stingier defense of the two teams. Plus, perhaps most importantly, the Valkyries seem to have the Aces’ number, beating them twice in two tries this season.

My line for tomorrow is basically a pick ’em, with a very slight lean to the Valkyries side. However, with Las Vegas’s leading bench scorer, Chennedy Carter, still expected to be out of action tomorrow, I’d lean even more heavily to the Golden State side. That would make the Valkyries plus the points my best bet for Sunday.
