NFL Futures 2026: Wide Receiver Best Bets

NFL teams are knee deep in offseason workouts, and games aren’t too far in the distance. Here at SGPN, we’ve been working our way through positional season-long props, and today we’ll focus on the wide receiver position. Let’s dive in and take a look at the wide receiver best bets in this 2026 NFL futures article.

MYBOOKIE BONUS

Emeka Egbuka Over 825.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

I saw all I needed to see in 2025 out of the rookie for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The year didn’t end as well as it started, but Egubka proved early on that he is going to be a star in the NFL. Even with the “slow” end to the year, Egubka still racked up 938 yards on the year, easily cruising past this number. In 2026, Mike Evans is now a member of the San Francisco 49ers. Chris Godwin is still around, but Egubka is clearly the #1 option, and Baker Mayfield knows how to deal the ball. Egubka will cruise past 1,000 yards in his sophomore season.

Alec Piece Under 850.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

A player I’m not buying the hype on is Alec Pierce of the Indianapolis Colts. Pierce has been a solid player since he joined the Colts in 2022. He had 593 yards as a rookie and followed it up with 514 as a sophomore. In year three, he upped it to 824, falling just short of this number. Then last season, everything clicked, and he went just over 1,000 yards.

However, that was the perfect storm for the Colts. They took the league by storm early on, having the best record and controlling the #1 seed. Then Daniel Jones got hurt, and it all went downhill. But there were cracks in the armor before Jones went down. Now, Jones isn’t looking to be ready for the start of the season, and maybe Anthony Richardson is the guy? Even when Jones comes back, what will he look like? Add to that, the team got rid of Pittman and paid Pierce as their #1 guy. I don’t think he’s ready for those shoes, and Indianapolis has a tough season. Give me the under.

Justin Jefferson Over 1150.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Now let’s touch on a superstar. Justin Jefferson is one of, if not the best, wide receivers in the NFL right now. Jefferson has gone over this total in all four seasons where he played at least 16 games, until last season. The JJ McCarthy experiment last season was bad. The Vikings don’t want to waste this window; they don’t want to waste a 26-year-old in his prime, Justin Jefferson. So they addressed the quarterback situation by signing Kyler Murray.

Murray appears in camp to have the upper hand. I think he’ll get the nod for the job this year. Murray is a solid quarterback and a massive upgrade at quarterback for the Vikings. We’ve seen how good Kevin O’Connell is with quarterbacks. McCarthy was just bad; we already know Murray isn’t. Jefferson cruises past this number in 2026.

AJ Brown Over 6.5 Receiving Touchdowns (+100)

AJ Brown is an interesting player here. It’s assumed that as early as tomorrow, he’ll be a member of the New England Patriots. I like this bet no matter where he goes, even if he stays with Philadelphia. Brown has hit this total in six of his seven NFL seasons. The exception was when he only played 13 games for the Titans in 2021, but he made up for that by hitting seven in just 13 games for the Eagles in 2024. Even last season in 15 games, Brown grabbed seven touchdowns. Now, if he joins the Patriots, an established good offense that really needs that big guy for Drake Maye to get the ball too. There’s no doubt Brown hits this number again.

DeVonta Smith Over 5.5 Receiving Touchdowns (+100)

Switching our attention to Brown’s teammate, at least for another day, DeVonta Smith. Smith is another player who has hit this number in more seasons than he hasn’t. Last year, the Eagles had their struggles, and Smith had just four touchdowns. But in the three previous seasons, he had at least seven touchdowns, including eight in just 13 games in 2024. Now, he’s set up to be the #1 option in Philadelphia, and unlike an Alec Pierce, he’s ready to step up and take on that role.
