Seattle Storm vs Toronto Tempo

I don’t want to be an “I told you so”, but I did predict that the Toronto Tempo and their veteran roster would be a solid WNBA team right out of the gate in the franchise’s first season. With a 4-4 record and a fourth-place spot in the Eastern Conference standings, I would say that’s a pretty solid start.
However, the Tempo are only 1-2 at home, so that is something they’ll look to improve on tomorrow when the Seattle Storm comes to visit at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. The Storm are 1-2 on the road and overall are not having a strong start to their season, with advanced stats ranking them as the second-worst team in the league, with only the 1-8 Connecticut Sun ranking worse.
After crunching the numbers (still a small sample size at this point in the season), my line is Toronto -8, so I’ll take the Tempo on the spread at home for my best bet for Saturday.
