Cleveland Cavaliers vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
This Eastern Conference Second Round series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons has been a hard one to get a bead on, as you never know which team will drop the bag any given game. There have been a lot of bags being dropped by both teams and their respective star players.
The Cavs were the last team to screw up, blowing their chances to finish the series on their home court in Game 6, getting blown out by 21 points. Now they head to Motown, where they’ve won one of three games in this series.
You want to be the home team in a Game 7 in the NBA. Historically, the home side wins Game 7’s 74.1% of the time, a massive advantage. So I like the top seed in the East, the Pistons, to survive and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2008.
My line is Detroit -7.5, so not only will the Pistons win, but they’ll cover.
