After a day to catch our breaths, the Stanley Cup Playoffs rev back up tomorrow night, with one Eastern Conference Second Round series perhaps completing. Let’s find a couple of goal scorers from it. For my NHL goal scorer parlay for Saturday (May 16th) in NHL Predictions, we’re off to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. Let’s hit the ice!
NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Saturday (May 16th): NHL Predictions
Buffalo Sabres vs Montreal Canadiens
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Goal scorers were aplenty in Game 5 between the Buffalo Sabres and the Montreal Canadiens, with goals raining down at the KeyBank Centre in the early minutes, finally ending in a 6-3 Canadiens win. Naturally, I didn’t hit any of the goal scorers because I’m back on my hitting half of a parlay slump.
But that’s going to change tomorrow night in Montreal, right?! Let’s find a couple of scorers. Let’s start on the side I’m picking to win, the Habs. Despite Cole Caufield being probably the most obvious choice, I’m instead going with his linemate, Juraj Slafkovsky. The former first overall draft pick has four goals during this playoff run and has managed to get 11 pucks on the net over the past three games.
With Slafkovsky, I’m pairing Sabres winger Alex Tuch. Tuch has yet to light the lamp this series against the Habs, but he had four goals in the first round and continues to get plenty of chances and shots on goal. One is bound to go in eventually.
