The other day, I wrote that I thought the Minnesota Wild were a live home dog for Game 4 of their NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round series against the Colorado Avalanche. I obviously was wrong, I admit. Now, the Wild will be fighting for their playoff lives tomorrow. Minnesota Wild vs Colorado Avalanche

The NHL’s best team, the Colorado Avalanche, has looked that way in this playoff run, outside of their 5-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild in Game 3 on the road. By righting that wrong with a 5-2 win in the Twin Cities in Game 3, the Avalanche are on the brink of wrapping up the series on Wednesday night.
And they get to try to turn the trick on their home ice in front of their home fans, where they posted an NHL-best 26-9-6 mark, and where they are a perfect 4-0 during this postseason. Do I like the Wild’s chances at extending their season and bucking the trend in this series, where outside of one game, they’ve been thoroughly outplayed? Nope.
The Colorado Avalanche on the moneyline is my best bet for Wednesday.
