Daily NBA Player Props – May 12th
Victor Wembanyama – Over 13.5 Rebounds (+109)
You have to imagine that this winds up being a revenge game for Wembanyama. He was upset with the officiating in Game 4 and responded by throwing an elbow that got him ejected. Prior to that ejection, he was on pace to put up his fourth straight 15-rebounds game. It’s been over two weeks since the last time he came in under this mark in a full game, and with the added motivation, there is a lot of reason to like this spot.
Devin Vassell – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+144)
While Vassell has only hit this mark in one of the games in this series, there are a lot of reasons to like the over here. Firstly, De’Aaron Fox is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s contest. Whether he plays or not, that should mean more attempts for Vassell. Additionally, Vassell is already getting about six attempts per game. If that goes up a touch, making three should be well within his grasp.
Ayo Dosunmu – Under 12.5 Points (-111)
I’m not trying to pick on the Timberwolves late trade acquisition here, but he hasn’t been doing much offensively in this series. He’s scored just 21 points total. While he’s been seeing more minutes with Donte DiVincenzo hurt, he’s been shooting particularly bad. He’s making just 25.0% of his shots this series. Plus, with taking just 12 shots in each of his last two games, he’d have to double that make rate to have a chance here.
