The NFL draft is days away. What are your team’s biggest needs? Who is at the top of your wish list? Every year, I do a seven-round draft. This is that draft. I factor in team rosters, team needs, player visits, and some gut instincts. I don’t make GM money. However, this is how I think the draft plays out. Check out the obvious picks and the twists I’ve thrown in. Also, this mock has no trade guesses. It’s as if no trades will happen, even though we know that’s not the case. Check out my 2026 seven-round NFL mock draft.
2026 NFL Seven-Round Mock Draft – JMark
Round 1
The start of my seven-round mock draft for the 2026 NFL season has no surprises. Fernando Mendoza goes number one. However, if I’m being completely honest, I have no idea what will happen after that. This is one of the most unpredictable first ten picks that I have ever remembered. Also, full disclosure, I was five rounds in to this mock draft when the Giants and Bengals completed a trade. Rather than redo the whole thing, I just had to move a few things around.
| # | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ![]() Raiders | Fernando Mendoza | QB | Indiana |
| What a year for Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza. The Raiders continue the good things in his life by drafting him first in the 2026 NFL Draft. They'll hopefully find a coach that can properly use this 6-5 quarterback who just threw for 33 touchdowns and only 6 INTs. He'll help improve this franchise immediately. Don't forget, Tom Brady is partial owner of this team. Some mentorship from Brady could go a long way. | ||||
| 2 | ![]() Jets | Arvell Reese | LB | Ohio State |
| The Jets have a lot of needs, including at quarterback. However, none of the candidates are worth taking second in the draft. Therefore, they focus on somebody who can become a quarterback for the defense in linebacker Arvell Reese. A defensive driven team gets one of the top defenders in the draft. | ||||
| 3 | ![]() Cardinals | Francis Mauigoa | OT | Miami |
| The Cardinals are another team that need to shift the direction their team is going. Kyler Murray is gone and they have a major need at quarterback. However, whoever is taking snaps at quarterback, they'll need protection. The Cardinals take the best offensive tackle in the draft in Francis Mauigoa who had a really solid year protecting Carson Beck last year. | ||||
| 4 | ![]() Titans | Rueben Bain Jr. | ED | Miami |
| The Titans have quite a bit of needs and a new coach who just so happens to love defense. They are serious lacking on edge rushers and lineman in general. Bain will end up more as a rushing linebacker for them. Saleh ignores the noise and gets a guy who had 12 sacks and an incredible 68 QB hurries last year. | ||||
| 5 | ![]() Giants | Mansoor Delane | CB | LSU |
| The Giants give a little surprise here by taking cornerback Mansoor Delane out of LSU. Delane is a lockdown corner who held opposing quarterbacks to a 27.5 passer rating when they threw his way. He only allowed 147 yards all year, no touchodwns and finished with two interceptions. He took a huge step forward from the previous year and will only continue to get better . | ||||
| 6 | ![]() Browns | Carnell Tate | WR | Ohio State |
| Personally, I don't think Shedeur or Gabriel are the answer at quarteback for the Browns. However, I don't get paid for those decisions. I think the Browns will roll with Sanders for 2026. One area they can help him succeed is by getting him more weapons. Therefore they draft Carnell Tate out of Ohio State. In 2025 he pulled in 875 yards, 17.2 yards per reception, and nine touchdowns. He's a 6-3 and has the speed needed to excell in the NFL. | ||||
| 7 | ![]() Commanders | Jeremiyah Love | RB | Notre Dame |
| The Commanders have a lot of needs. However, they can't pass up the opporutnity to add the player that may be the best offensive player in the draft in Jeremiyah Love. Love was stellar at Notre Dame last year, finishing with 1372 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. It wasn't a fluke, he had 1124 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns in 2024. He'll help change this offense and take pressure of Jayden Daniels. | ||||
| 8 | ![]() Saints | David Bailey | ED | Texas Tech |
| The Saints have a lot of needs but go with the next best available player in David Bailey. Bailey had a monster year at Texas Tech last year, finishing with 15 sacks, 23 QB hits ,and 43 QB hurries. PFF gave him a 93.8 pass rush grade and a 21.6% pass rush win rate. | ||||
| 9 | ![]() Chiefs | Caleb Downs | S | Ohio State |
| The Chiefs are weak in their defensive backfield. That includes cornerbacks and safeties. They take the next guy on their board that fits a need in Caleb Downs out of Ohio State. He is excellent at both covering and run-stopping and will immediately help this defense be better. | ||||
| 10 | ![]() Giantsvia CIN | Sonny Styles | LB | Ohio State |
| It hasn't felt right not taking Sonny Styles, but he just hadn't fallen to a good fit yet. That changes when the Giants make their second selection and take the Ohio State linebacker number 10 overall. He's equally good at run defense and as a cover linebacker. The Giants could have opted to replace Dexter Lawrence here, however, I don't think any of the candidates are worth the top-10 selection. | ||||
| 11 | ![]() Dolphins | Jordyn Tyson | WR | Arizona State |
| It's no surprise that the Dolphins need receiver help, especially after trading Jaylen Waddle. I've seen a lot of people mock Makai Lemon here. However, I think the Dolphins want a bigger bodied guy who can work on the outside. Tyson is capable of being a WR1 where I feel Lemon is more of a compliment. Tyson only played 9 games this season for Arizona State but still managed 711 yards and 8 touchdowns. In 12 games in 2024, he had 1098 yards and 10 touchdowns. He'll immediately become Malik Willis' number one target. | ||||
| 12 | ![]() Cowboys | Jermod McCoy | CB | Tennessee |
| The Cowboys need a lot of help in their defensive backfield. McCoy should pass all his medical exams and the Cowboys have an extremely good doctor in Dallas to vouch for him. He showed the potential to be a true shut-down corner in man to man and I think Jerry Jones doesn't mind taking the risk on him. | ||||
| 13 | ![]() Rams via ATL | Spencer Fano | OT | Utah |
| The Rams are gearing up for what is most likely Matt Stafford's last year. One of the biggest things is to make sure he's protected. They weren't terrible at tackle last year, however, Spencer Fano will slot in as their right tackle and be an upgrade. He has allowed just one sack in the last 806 pass block snaps. | ||||
| 14 | ![]() Ravens | Emmanuel Pregnon | G | Oregon |
| The Ravens take Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon. This may seem early for him and most will say Ioane is a better player. That may be, but Pregnon fits the Ravens offensive scheme better due to his excellent run blocking. He can pass block pretty good too. Pregnon has played both guard spots but has the most experience at left guard. This will immediately help Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry both. | ||||
| 15 | ![]() Buccaneers | Olaivavega Ioane | G | Penn State |
| After watching one guard go already the Bucs pounce on Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane. He's a great fit in a pass-pro offense and graded in the 90th percentail in true pass sets and 95th on five and seven-stop drops. Suddenly, Baker has more time to throw and the offense gets better. | ||||
| 16 | ![]() Jetsvia IND | Ty Simpson | QB | Alabama |
| The Jets did the smart thing with their first pick and took the best player available. This time they take the position that seems to hold the most importance in the NFL, a quarterback. Jets select Ty Simpson out of Alabama. Simpson had 3,561 passing yards, 28 touchdowns to just five interceptions. Simpson improved every year, has an excellent deep ball, and is used to playing on the big stage. He can sit behind Geno for a year and learn the NFL game. | ||||
| 17 | ![]() Lions | Monroe Freeling | OT | Georgia |
| This is a Dan Campbell-type pick. The Lions take Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling. Taylor Decker is gone, and Freeling will be able to step in and start producing and protecting right in his place. He's played both tackle positions but excels at left tackle. Last year, PFF gave him an 86.1 pass block grade. | ||||
| 18 | ![]() Vikings | Dillon Thieneman | S | Oregon |
| The Vikings need a lot of help. They upgrade their secondary by taking Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman. This Vikings team is going to miss Harrison Smith, up until Dillon Thieneman. He is an excellent cover safety who had a 17.2% forced incompletion rate last year. | ||||
| 19 | ![]() Panthers | Kenyon Sadiq | TE | Oregon |
| The Panthers took a big step forward and now they get Bryce Young another weapon in Kenyon Sadiq. He's very athletic and versatile and will help in both the receiving and blocking games. He has huge upside and is a mismatch nightmare. | ||||
| 20 | ![]() Cowboysvia via GB | CJ Allen | LB | Georgia |
| With their second pick in the first round, which they got from the Parsons trade, the Cowboys take a linebacker. CJ Allen out of Georgia is a blue chip player who is excellent against the run. His coverage grade needs work but they draft him to improve their rush defense anyways. | ||||
| 21 | ![]() Steelers | Makai Lemon | WR | USC |
| The Steelers get a steal in wide receiver Makai Lemon out of USC. The 5-11 speedy receiver has plenty of experience at all positions but is primarily a slot receiver. The Steelers finished with Adam Thielen as their slot receiver last year, a player I don't think returns to the NFL, let alone ot the Steelers. Lemon finished last year with 1156 yards and 11 touchdowns. He'll add speed to this offense, no matter who is throwing the ball, and create nice mismatch opportunities against safeties and linebackers and slot-backs. Their starting quarterback will now have Metcalf, Pittman, and Lemon to throw to. | ||||
| 22 | ![]() Chargers | Kayden McDonald | DI | Ohio State |
| The Chargers take interior defensive lineman Kayden McDonald to improve their d-line. He's an excelletn run-stopping defender. He had top-tier stability, lnding in the 99th percentile in run-stop rate. Even though his pass-rush is a little limited, he's still the best interior lineman in the draft and is a big 326-pound addition to the Chargers' line | ||||
| 23 | ![]() Eagles | Kadyn Proctor | OT | Alabama |
| The Eagles take offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor out of Alabama. The Eagles have hosted a slew of offensive tackles, indicating that they are either preparing for Lane Johnson to play his last season, or for him to take a step back in general. Blake Miller may be a better fit for them because of his experience at right tackle, however, I think they'll be infatuated with Proctor after his team visit with them. | ||||
| 24 | ![]() Brownsvia JAGS | Blake Miller | OT | Clemson |
| Maybe the Browns could have had a better result from their quarterbacks had they had better protection. They upgrade their offensive line by taking Blake Miller. He has played primarily at right tackle and only allowed 3 sacks in over 1000 pass blocking snaps over the past two years. He has some experience at left tackle, but the right side is where he excels. The Browns have no current offensive lineman starters, so they can use all the help. | ||||
| 25 | ![]() Bears | Akheem Mesidor | ED | Miami |
| The Bears are gifted edge rusher Akheem Mesidor. They've been looking for somebody to help pair with Montez Sweat and Mesidor will be great at it. Yes, Reuben Bain got a lot of the attention on that Miami defense. Still, Mesidor finished with 13 sacks and 50 QB hurries. He's very good as a pass rush defender and a run defender. | ||||
| 26 | ![]() Bills | Emmanuel McNeil-Warren | S | Toledo |
| The Bills need secondary help all across the board. They improve the safety position by taking Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. EMW is an explosive safety who can create turnovers. Last year he had a coverage grade of 92 and a run-defense grade of 83.2. He's from a smaller school, but he's a fierce copmetitor who the Bills Mafia will love. | ||||
| 27 | ![]() 49ers | Denzel Boston | WR | Washington |
| The 49ers have had a lot of wide receivers to visit, and they select one of them in the first round in Denzel Boston out of Washington. He's a 6-4 X receiver with the size and skill to become a WR1. He has elite hand strength and smooth routes. Boston finished with 11 touchdowns and a 76.9% contested catch rate. | ||||
| 28 | ![]() Texans | Caleb Banks | DI | Florida |
| The Texans had a really strong defense last year. They get stronger with 6-6, 330-pound interior defensive lineman Caleb Banks out of Florida. He's a space occupier and can contribute in both the run-stopping game and pass rush. He has a lot of untapped potential but the Texans' other d-line pieces are so strong, he'll thrive. | ||||
| 29 | ![]() Chiefsvia RAMS | Avieon Terrell | CB | Clemson |
| The Chiefs continue to improve the secondary, this time taking cornerback Aieon Terrell. He's a zone cover specialist who also excels at stopping the run. He has elite football IQ and playmaking instincts. He's also playe dall over including corner, slot, box, and deep man. | ||||
| 30 | ![]() Dolphinsvia DEN | Peter Woods | DI | Clemson |
| The Dolphins need a lot of help in the interior of their defensive line. They add Peter Woods out of Clemson. He excels at the B Gap but has played all over. He's got a good blend of size, strenght, and athleticism and is very versatile. He has an explosive first step and is disruptive at the line of scrimmage. Dolphins get a steal. | ||||
| 31 | ![]() Patriots | Keldric Faulk | ED | Auburn |
| For a team coming off the Super Bowl, I do think the Patriots have a good amount of needs. They struggled to get production from the edge last year and their highest graded edge player is Harold Landry, who's stats had him finish 43rd of 119 pass rushers. They add Keldric Faulk who will fit the culture and the scheme. At Auburn, he had more sacks in 2024 with 9. However, this is a guy who will be fun to puzzle in different plays. | ||||
| 32 | ![]() Seahawks | Colton Hood | CB | Tennessee |
| The Super Bowl champs keep their foot on the gas and draft Colton Hood, a cornerback out of Tennessee. He'll line up opposite of Witherspoon and make it harder for teams to pass on this team. Seattle knows their time with Darnold may be limited, so they're all in for another year and this is a great addition to improve a defense that was already very solid. | ||||
Round 2
Is it weird that I felt better about Round 1 than Round 2 of my 2026 NFL mock draft in this seven-rounder? It will only take me being wrong on a handful of first-rounders to mess up my guess on the second round. However, this is how I think the second round will go down.
| # | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 65 | ![]() Cardinals | Josiah Trotter | LB | Missouri |
| The Cardinals take the physical linebacker Josiah Trotter out of Missouri. He's a downhill linebacker that will fit their scheme well. He's a good run defender and pass rusher. | ||||
| 66 | ![]() Titans | Markel Bell | OT | Miami |
| The Titans take a massive offensive tackle, Markel Bell, out of Miami. He's 6-9 but moves well for his size. In 558 pass block snaps at left tackle last year, he allowed 0 sacks and only 1 QB hit. | ||||
| 67 | ![]() Raiders | Gennings Dunker | OT | Iowa |
| The Raiders take Iowa tackle Gennings Dunker. He's mainly played right tackle but may be moved inside at guard. Either way, the Raiders could use him on their offensive line. He's a powerful lineman who will set the tone on the line. | ||||
| 68 | ![]() Eagles via NYJ | Bryce Lance | WR | North Dakota State |
| The Eagles are no strangers to taking a shot on a player from North Dakota State. This year, they draft Bryce Lance, a 6-3 X receiver. Who knows what's going to happen with A.J. Brown. Regardless, Lance is a weapon. | ||||
| 69 | ![]() Texansvia NYG | Jadarian Price | RB | Notre Dame |
| The Texans take the other Notre Dame running back, Jadarian Price. In his limited useage behind Love, Price looked like an explosive NFL ready back. He will make a nice compliment to David Montgomery. On 113 carries, he scored 11 touchdowns last year and averaged 6 yards per attempt. | ||||
| 70 | ![]() Browns | Logan Jones | C | Iowa |
| Another Iowa lineman goes as the Browns take Logan Jones. They need a lot of offensive line help and continue to get it by adding Jones. He's got a high-IQ and is a big time competitor. | ||||
| 71 | ![]() Commanders | Dani Dennis-Sutton | ED | Penn State |
| Just because the Commanders are getting defensive line help later in the draft, it doesn't mean they aren't still getting a big-time player. Edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton out of Penn State finished last year with 8 sacks, 14 qb hits ,and 29 hurries. He's got scheme flexibility and I think a lot of teams are going to be eying this guy in Round 3. | ||||
| 72 | ![]() Bengals | Caleb Tiernan | OT | Northwestern |
| If the Bengals don't start protecting Joe Burrow more, they're going to end up seeing him retire. They bring in some help in 6-7 Northwestern tackle Caleb Tiernan. He's an experienced tackle and has a high football IQ. He will be a Day 1 starter. | ||||
| 73 | ![]() Saints | Zachariah Branch | WR | Georgia |
| The Saints need more playmakers and they get one in Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch. He's got difference-making athleticism and is a super speedy guy. He'll become a Rashid Shaheed type replacement for them. | ||||
| 74 | ![]() Chiefs | Chris Brazzell II | WR | Tennessee |
| A lot of scouts say Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II is a boom-or-bust vertical receiver. Who better to make him a boom than Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs? | ||||
| 75 | ![]() Dolphins | Keylan Rutledge | G | Georgia Tech |
| The Dolphins take Keylan Rutledge, a 6-4 330 pound guard who allowed equally decent run and pass blocking grades and didn't allow a single sack. He'll be a great run-blocker for Devon Achane | ||||
| 76 | ![]() Steelers via PIT | Kamari Ramsey | S | USC |
| The Steelers take safety Kamari Ramsey out of USC. Ramsey is a veratile player with the ability to play both safety spots as well as in the slot. | ||||
| 77 | ![]() Buccaneers | Max Klare | TE | Ohio State |
| The Bucs will still utilize Cade Otton. However, they need to add some young talent at the position to help the receivin game and they do that with Max Klare out of Ohio State. He's got saavy receiving skills and will really help in the pass game. | ||||
| 78 | ![]() Colts | Genesis Smith | S | Arizona |
| The Colts continue to improve on defense by taking safety Genesis Smith out of Arizona. He's a good cover safety with good size and traits. | ||||
| 79 | ![]() Falcons | Treydan Stukes | CB | Arizona |
| The Falcons draft cornerback Treydan Stukes to help their defense improve at stopping the pass. He allowed 0 touchdowns and had 4 interceptoins last year while allowing opposing qb's an average of a 34.4 QBR. He worked his way from a walk-on player to a starter. That's the kind of drive you'll get with Stukes. | ||||
| 80 | ![]() Ravens | Davison Igbinosun | CB | Ohio State |
| The Ravens improve their secondary by taking Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun. He's got good size and phsyicality and will fit in with that Ravens defense. | ||||
| 81 | ![]() Jaguarsvia DET | Domonique Orange | DI | Iowa State |
| The Jaguars continue to improve their defensive lineman by taking a massive prospect with elite power in Iowa State interior lineman Domonique Orange. He has a good first step explosiveness and a good combo of speed and power. The Jags suddenly have a scary d-line. | ||||
| 82 | ![]() Vikings | Anthony Hill Jr. | LB | Texas |
| The Vikings had linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. from Texas in for a Top-30 visit and now they draft him in the third round. He's a strong athlete with good length and will be a good player for them. | ||||
| 83 | ![]() Panthers | Rommelo Height | ED | Texas Tech |
| The Panthers may be getting a steal here with Romello Height, the edge rusher out of Texas Tech. Height finished with 9 sacks, 11 qb hits and 42 hurries. He has quinkness and good technique. | ||||
| 84 | ![]() Packers | Elijah Sarratt | WR | Indiana |
| The Packers take wide receiver Elijah Sarratt out of Indiana. Sarratt has strong hands, great coordination and is highly competitive. He's got the potential to become a strong WR2 in the NFL, and the Packers could use the weapons. The 6-2 receiver finished with 824 yards and 15 rec touchdowns last year. | ||||
| 85 | ![]() Steelers | Kyle Louis | LB | Pitt |
| The Steelers keep linebacker Kyle Louis in the same state, drafting him out of Pitt. Louis is a versatile space defender and can be a cover linebacker or even step in as a nickleback. He's got great cover abillity and explosiveness. | ||||
| 86 | ![]() Chargers | Jalen Farmer | G | Kentucky |
| The Chargers bolster their offensive line by taking 6-5 guard Jalen Farmer out of Kentucky. Across 818 snaps in 2025, he only allowed 14 pressures and no quarterback hits. He also only had one penalty in that time. He's a disciplined lineman who will develop into a nice NFL player. | ||||
| 87 | ![]() Dolphinsvia PHI | Ted Hurst | WR | Georgia State |
| The Dolphins aren't done adding receivers as they take a risk on wide receiver Ted Hurst out of Georgia State. He's a lean X receiver who can block and has great contested-catch ability. Last year he finished with 999 yards and he has 15 rec touchdowns over the last two years. | ||||
| 88 | ![]() Jaguars | Mike Washington Jr. | RB | Arkansas |
| The Jaguars let Travis Etienne walk in free agency this offseason. In the third round they take bruising back Mike Washington out of Arkansas. Washington has great size, straight line speed, and a run-through-your-face style of play. He has good vision and footwork and will serve along Tuten in this backfield. | ||||
| 89 | ![]() Bears | Darrell Jackson Jr. | DI | Florida State |
| The Bears add a massive 6-5, 337-pound defensive tackle by taking Darrell Jackson Jr. out of Florida State. He's got a lot of power and imposing physical traits. He'll need to improve his hand useage in the NFL. However, he's a great run-stopper and will improve this d-line as a Day 1 rotational player at worst and a full-time starter at best. | ||||
| 90 | ![]() Dolphinsvia HOU | Carson Beck | QB | Miami/b> |
| The Dolphins brought in Malik Willis to help them for now. However, I'm not sure he's a long-term answer, or even a short term one, despite what my internet critics think. They take quarterback Carson Beck out of Miami. The former Georgia Bulldog had a good season, completing his third in a row with over 3400 passing yards and over 20 touchdowns. He finished with a 106.7 passer-rating. He has a lot of experience starting. | ||||
| 91 | ![]() Bills | Chandler Rivers | CB | Duke |
| The Bills continue to re-tool their secondary by taking Duke cornerback Chandler Rivers. He logged 3,186 snaps across four seasons at Duke, so comes in with a ton of experience. He only allowed one touchdown in coverage in 2025. Over the past three seasons while playing outside corner, he's only been flagged four times for interference. Discipline. | ||||
| 92 | ![]() Cowboysvia SF | Keyron Crawford | ED | Auburn |
| The Cowboys wait on edge rusher but take Keyron Crawford out of Auburn in the 3rd round. Last year he finished with an 18.3% pass rush win rate and an 85.8 pass rush grade from pFF. | ||||
| 93 | ![]() Rams | Drew Allar | QB | Penn State |
| This may be a little early for some. However, the Rams don't pick again until the 6th round. They have to start thinking about what happens after Matt Stafford and they draft Drew Allar to be that guy. He needs time and refining. Luckily, on the Rams, he'll get that. | ||||
| 94 | ![]() Dolphinsvia DEN | Kage Casey | OT | Boise State |
| The Dolphins bolster their offensive line by taking Boise State tackle Kage Casey. He's a true left tackle who has only allowed 6 sacks and 7 QB hits in the last three years, and only 10 QB hurries in the last two. He can run block and pass block efficiently enough to become an NFL starter. | ||||
| 95 | ![]() Patriots | Jager Burton | C | Kentucky |
| After a trade with the Bears, the Patriots don't have a center. They waited a bit in the draft, but take Jager Burton out of Kentucky. He started at center all last year, but is a versatile guy that can play allover the interior of the line. Last year he allowed 0 sacks and 0 QB hits in 457 pass-blocking snaps. | ||||
| 96 | ![]() Seahawks | Jonah Coleman | RB | Washington |
| The people that made a fuss over the Seahawks letting Kenneth Walker hit free agency must have forgotten how good Zach Charbonnet looked. However, I think it behooves him to share the backfield. Therefore, they keep Washington Huskies RB in the state by taking Jonah Coleman. He's a 5-9 powerful back who can also be used as a reciever and pass protector. | ||||
| 97 | ![]() VikingsComp Pick | Rayshaun Benny | DI | Michigan |
| The Vikings bolster their defensive line by taking Michigan interior defensive lineman Rayshaun Benny. He's a 6-4, 305 run stopper. In case you didn't know, the NFC North runs the ball. | ||||
| 98 | ![]() Eagles Comp Pick | Devin Moore | CB | Florida |
| The Eagles could use some help in the secondary beyond Mitchell. They draft Florida CB Devin Moore towards the end here. If he stays healthy, it could end up being a steal for a cornerback who can cover and stop the run. He's got nice length at 6-3 and good speed even for a taller defensive back. | ||||
| 99 | ![]() Steelers Comp Pick | Brian Parker II | OT | Duke |
| The Steelers grab Brian Parker II, a 6-5 OT out of Duke. Parker graded very well on PFF, including good against in both the rushing and passing games. He's played at both tackle positions, though plays more naturally at the right tackle spot. If they line Dylan Cook up at LT and Parker at RT, the bookend players should provide good protection for the Steeler's QB. | ||||
| 100 | ![]() JaguarsComp Pick | Zakee Wheatley | S | Penn State |
| The Jaguars take Zakee Wheatley, safety out of Penn State to help bolster their secondary. They need somebody who can help defend with Antonio Johnson. Wheatley is slender but rangy, and excel at single-high roles. | ||||
Round 3
The chaos and research continue into the third round. As we get into each round, things get more and more questionable. I wish I could say it’s just names I threw out as a guess. However, I spent hours and hours completing this thing, trying to think about what made the most sense. I may be insane, or maybe I care too much. However, this 2026 NFL seven-round mock draft gets a lot of my blood, sweat, and sometimes maybe even a tear or two.

| The Cardinals take the physical linebacker Josiah Trotter out of Missouri. He's a downhill linebacker that will fit their scheme well. He's a good run defender and pass rusher. | ||||
| 66 | ![]() Titans | Markel Bell | OT | Miami |

That's the kind of drive you'll get with Stukes. | ||||

Round 4
Let’s be honest, who knows what will happen in Round 4? I did nail a few picks last year in the fourth round. I am also proud to say I nailed the Bears taking Austin Booker. Again, research, research, blood, sweat, tears….it’s all in there.
| # | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 101 | ![]() Titans | Dontay Corleone | DI | Cincinnati |
| The Titans take an interior defensive lineman out of Cincinnati in Dontay Corleone. He's known as the Godfather and back in 2022 was one of the most dominant run defenders in college football. He had some medical issues, but did bounce back and score an 80.9 run defense grade last year. He's got raw talent and will be a fun puzzle piece for the Titans. | ||||
| 102 | ![]() Raiders | Chris McClellan | DI | Missouri |
| The Raiders met with interior defensive lineman Chris McClellan out of Missouri on their visits and now they draft him and make him a Raider. He's got a bit 6-4 frame and can help out at both stopping the run and rushing the passer from the interior. | ||||
| 103 | ![]() Jets | Jude Bowry | OT | Boston College |
| The Jets continue to improve the offense by adding offensive tackle Jude Bowry out of Boston College. He's a solid athlete who will be a versatile swing lineman. He may be more of a rotational guy in certain situations and schemes, but he'll contribute enough to make him worth the fourth round pick. | ||||
| 104 | ![]() Cardinals | Kaleb Proctor | DI | Southeastern Louisiana |
| Kaleb Proctor is receiving a decent amount of draft buzz for a small school player. The interior defensive lineman is one of the best interior pass-rushres in the draft. He finished last year with 9 sacks and 26 QB hurries from the interior. The Cardinals take a chance on him developing into a guy that can do that consistently in the NFL. | ||||
| 105 | ![]() Giants | Antonio Williams | WR | Clemson |

| 108 | ![]() Broncosvia NO | Justin Joly | TE | North Carolina State |
| The Broncos were hoping that Evan Engram would be a big part of the offense. However, last year that didn't pan out very well. They select North Carolina State tight end Justin Joly. He's a receiving tight end with strong hands and a high football IQ. He's also very competitive. Bo Nix gets another weapon. | ||||
| 109 | ![]() Chiefs | Michael Trigg | TE | Baylor |
| Despite Travis Kelce continuing to come back, at some point he will be stepping away from football. Even still, he's an aging tight end that has been on and off the field as of late. The Chiefs draft Michael Trigg to eventually take over. He has some inconsistencies, but Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs staff are the ones to fix those. He has amazing vertical athleticism and contested-catch abilities. Last year he finished with 694 yards and six touchdowns. | ||||
| 110 | ![]() Bengals | Billy Schrauth | G | Notre Dame |
| The Bengals need better interior lineman and they get one that can immediately start for them in Billy Schrauth. The 6-4 lineman has starting experience at both guard positions and only allowed one sack in the last two years and no quarterback hits. | ||||
| 111 | ![]() Broncosvia DEN | LT Overton | ED | Alabama |
| The Broncos biggest need may not be edge rusher. However, they can't let LT Overton continue to slide in the draft. The Alabama edge rusher has inside-out versatility and the right size. Refining his technique and becoming more consistent could make him a big problem for opposing offenses. | ||||

| The Cowboys keep cornerback Charles Demmings in Texas by drafting him in the fourth round. He allowed an average of just 39.8 QBR last year and finished with four interceptions. He's a small school guy, but plays like a big school guy and will compete for a starting spot right away. | ||||

| The Bucs will be without Mike Evans for the first time in a decade. They bring in Caleb Douglas to pick up some of what has been left from Evans Departure. The 6-4 receiver out of Texas Tech will make a good X receiver. He finished with 846 rec yards and 7 rec touchdowns last year. | ||||
| 117 | ![]() Raidersvia MIN | Deion Burks | WR | Oklahoma |
| The Raiders add an interesting prospect in Oklahoma wide receiver Deion Burks. He's 5-9 but incredibly strong. He's a slot receiver type player, but I think they could utilize him all over the field. He had 617 receiving yards last year. Surprisingly, the majority of his snaps came from lining up out wide. | ||||
| 118 | ![]() Lions | Jaishawn Barham | ED | Michigan |
| Four years after drafting a Michigan defensive end the Lions do it again by taking Jaisawn Barham. He's not the same type of player as Hutchinson. However, he is an excellent run stopping edge defender who can also rush the passer. | ||||
| 119 | ![]() Panthers | Kaelon Black | RB | Indiana |
| Chuba Hubbard and the other running backs did okay for the Panthers last year. However, for a team that wants to continue to make the playoffs, okay isn't good enough. I don’t know if Jonathan Brooks will ever be ready to contribute. The Panthers take Indiana running back Kaelon Black who has strong legs and good burst. Last year he ran for 1034 yards and 10 touchdowns. | ||||
| 120 | ![]() Packers | Keyshaun Elliott | LB | Arizona State |

| 129 | ![]() Bears via LAR | De'Zhaun Stribling | WR | Ole Miss |
| I know the Bears were likely to focus on the defense but I think Ben Johnson can't help but add to his offense. They take Ole Miss wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling to fill in for the hole left by DJ Moore. Last year Strbling finished with 811 yards and six touchdowns. He's a physical guy with natural hands who can block well. | ||||

Round 5
I’ll leave you from here without writing before each round. At this point, I’m doing my best to do what makes sense. However, in the 5th round and on, it’s harder and harder to guess how GMs and scouts or putting their value on players.
