UFC Fight Night: Burns vs Malott (aka UFC Winnipeg) might be low on starpower, but it is packed full of Canadian fighters. One such fighter is British Columbia’s Jamey-Lyn Horth, who is competiting on Saturday’s prelims in a women’s flyweight fight against American JJ Aldrich.
Aldrich has struggled in the past with fighters who can outmuscle her, and that plays right into Horth’s favor. The 36-year-old is a very physical fighter who has competed up a weight class at 135 pounds, while Aldrich used to fight at 115.
Horth should be able to use her physical strength to win this matchup, plus she showed in her last fight that she also has some pop on her punches, winning via TKO. Her finishing ability and all-around skills should give her the edge over Aldrich, and cash us our best bet.
