Daily NBA Player Props – March 22nd
Donovan Clingan – Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds (-117)
Clingan has been cleaning up with his rebounding and points prop as of late. Over his last five games, he’s averaging 13.2 rebounds per game. That means he should only need about a dozen points to clear this projection if he stays on that pace. That seems like child’s play given that he’s put up 20 or more in three of his last five games. While the Nuggets are a solid team, they are 19th in scoring defense, which should make things even easier or he UConn product.
Bilal Coulibaly – Over 19.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
The projection is obviously a little low for Coulibaly because he’s facing the Knicks, who are a top five defensive team and are solid on the boards. However, he’s coming off a game with the Thunder, who are second in points allowed in the league and Coulibaly beat this projection just with his scoring. That marked the third time in four game that he scored at least 20 points. Add in that he’s put up 8.8 rebounds and assists combined in those four games and, even with a drop off, he should meet this number.
Nikola Jokic – Over 10.5 Assists (-109)
Jokic has been spreading the love on the offensive end of the court a bit more lately. In his last seven games, he’s 5-2 against this projection with 12.0 dimes on average. He draws a Portland team here who is likely to get into a high scoring game with them. Portland ranks in the bottom third of the league in points allowed and happens to have some elite rim protection. As a result, I expect Jokic to play facilitator for the bulk of this one.
