Daily NBA Player Props – March 19th
Bub Carrington – Over 10.5 Points (-106)
I don’t think there is anyone out there thinking that Carrington’s last game is an indication of things to come, but it was interesting. He netting 30 points against the Pistons last game, with six made three-pointers. Now he faces that same Pistons team – granted on the road. He needs about a third of what he had last game, which seems reasonable. Plus, it’s worth mentioning, he’s beat this line in six of his last ten games.
Jalen Suggs – Over 9.5 Assists + Rebounds (-115)
Suggs has been doing his thing to fill out the stat sheet lately. With Anthony Black on the bench, he has taken the front seat when it comes to dishing out dimes – averaging 6.3 per game over the last four games. Similarly, his work on the boards is clearly picked up. He is snagging 5.5 rebounds per in that same span. Those numbers put him in a comfortable position to have a down game and still likely hit the over. Charlotte is a tough team, but I don’t foresee that kind of dropoff here.
Maxime Reynaud – Over 9.5 Rebounds (-107)
Reynaud did come up short of this number last game, but that was against the tough rebounding Spurs – and he only missed by half a rebound. Now he get a Philadelphia team that is much worse on the boards. They rank 23rd in the league in rebounding percentage and some of that is inflated by the play of Joel Embiid – who is once again out. With a 9-7 record against this line in his last 16 and an easy matchup, he should pull down double figures.
