NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders won’t be meeting in the NFC Championship Game again this season, that is for sure. That’s because the Commanders are a rotten 4-10, and have shut down star quarterback Jayden Daniels after an injury-plagued seven-game sophomore season.
So it comes down to former Eagles’ backup QB Marcus Mariota to try to stop his former employer from clinching their second straight NFC East title tomorrow on the Commanders’ home field. I don’t see that happening.
Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts bounced back from a disastrous performance in Week 14 to put on arguably his best performance of the season last week. He should be ready to get the Eagles to the promised land.
My line for tomorrow is Philadelphia -11, so the Eagles covering the spread is my best bet for Saturday.
