Vancouver Canucks New York Islanders
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Apparently I didn’t learn my lesson the other day when the Vancouver Canucks mushed by best bet by beating the New York Rangers 3-0 at Madison Square Garden, because I’m going against the ‘Nucks once more tomorrow. This despite Vancouver beating both of the New York City area teams thus far on this road trip.
But make no mistake about it – the Canucks are not a good hockey team. They’re bad on offense and bad on defense. And you’d have to expect things to get worse now that they’ve traded the only star on their roster, Quinn Hughes.
Plus, the New York Islanders are kinda ok this year, epecially on defense. And they’re a very solid 10-6-2 on their home ice on the Island. The Canucks aren’t sweeping their NYC trip.
The Islanders on the moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
