NFL Week 12 Defensive Player Props – Best Bets

Our Favorite Sack Props

DeMarcus Lawrence – SEA (+124)

There is no team in the league that is worse at defending their quarterback than the Titans. Tennessee isn’t giving Cam Ward much help – leaving him to be sacked 41 times in just ten starts. At 4.1 times per game with with Seattle 6th in the league in sacks, we have to imagine that number is going up on Sunday. DeMarcus Lawrence is a great candidate to pick up one of them. He has a sack in four of his last five games and is consistently in the backfield lately.

Jalon Walker – ATL (+110)

Walker is another guy I like to get in the backfield. For one, the Saints don’t do a great job at protecting their quarterbacks on the year. Plus, Walker has been all over quarterbacks lately. While he got blanked in the Berlin game, he had picked up three sacks in the two weeks prior. Both of those were against quarterbacks with similar size and profiles to Tyler Shough.

Our Favorite Tackle Props

Geno Stone – CIN – Over 6.5 Tackles and Assists (-110)

With the possibility of Joe Burrow coming back, there is a good chance that this game turns into a shootout. The Patriots are going to look to hang a big number with Drake Maye doing a lot of the heavy lifting. That should create more tackle opportunities for the defensive backs. Stone has had 25 total tackles in the last three games (or 8.3 per game), and he should be able to match that again.

Cooper DeJean – PHI – Over 4.5 Tackles and Assists (-130)

DeJean is another defensive back that should have plenty of opportunities. The Cowboys are going to have to match the scoring put up against their terrible defense and Dak Prescott has been efficient through the air. That should mean that we see this safety with plenty of chances to get a few extra tackles. He’s already been over this number in three of his last four, so let’s keep the trend in tact on Sunday.

Our Favorite Interception Props

Ronnie Hickman – CLE (+650)

Hickman has been one of the hottest plays in the interception market. He’s snagged one in two of his last four games – picking off Justin Fields and Tua Tagovailoa. While those two quarterbacks aren’t ones you’d tell your kids about, he gets Geno Smith on Sunday, who has been equally as bad. In fact, Smith leads the league with 13 interceptions and will likely add to it here.

Kyu Blu Kelly – LV (+700)

We’re going to stick with the same game for our second interception prop. The Raiders have the pleasure of seeing the first start from Shadeur Sanders on Sunday. While I’m sure the Browns are gameplanning to keep things simple for him, I think he’ll get out over his skis at least once and get picked. If so, look for it to be Kelly, who nabbed two off of Bo Nix two weeks ago.
