Boston Bruins’ center Mogan Geekie enjoyed a breakout season last year when he scored 33 goals, which is also how many goals he scored in the previous three seasons combined. Geekie has shown this season that last year was no aberration.
Geekie has 12 goals this season, good for a tie for second-best in the NHL. Let’s hope he breaks that tie tomorrow by netting at least one against the Montreal Canadiens.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Chicago Blackhawks
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Despite being 35 years old, Toronto Maple Leaf John Tavares is not slowing down just yet. After scoring 38 goals last season for the Leafs, tied for second-most in a season for him in his career, he’s off to a hot start this year.
Tavares leads his hometown team in goals with 11, which included the 500th goal of his career recently. Look for him to light the lamp again tomorrow night in Chicago against the Blackhawks.
