We get the defending champions in action this week on Monday Night Football, as the Philadelphia Eagles head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. Both teams are having strong seasons, with the Eagles sitting atop the NFC East division and the Packers on top of the NFC North.
The advanced stats, however, favor the visiting Eagles. Their defense is equal to the Packers, but their offense is much better. And to make matters worse for the home side, Green Bay’s top receiver, tight end Tucker Kraft, is out for the season after blowing out his knee.
My line is Green Bay -0.5, so the Eagles plus the points is my best bet for Monday.
