We start things off in The City of Brotherly Love, as the Philadelphia Flyers host the Ottawa Senators for a matinee game. The Senators’ 6-5-3 record belies the fact that they have a terrible defense – they allow 3.86 goals per game, the second-worst in the NHL.
So I’m going with a Flyer to score for the first half of my parlay. And that Flyer is Noah Cates, who has four goals and a team-best 5.6 Expected Goals this season.
Seattle Kraken vs St. Louis Blues
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
I’ll continue my trend of fading teams with poor defenses and go in on a play against the St. Louis Blues, who allow the most goals per game in the NHL at 3.87 per. Let’s find a Seattle Kraken player to score tomorrow.
Jordan Eberle looks like a good pick. He leads the Kraken with five goals and six Expected Goals.
