My hot streak of winning daily best bets got snapped yesterday when the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, but as a lifelong Jays fan, I can live with that. Baltimore Ravens vs Miami Dolphins
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
We get an AFC matchup on this week’s edition of Thursday Night Football between two teams with a combined record of 4-11. Blech. However, at least the Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins have historically had exciting games. Plus, Lamar Jackson is expected to be back taking snaps for the Ravens tomorrow night in Miami.
Despite this fact, I’m going with the home team in this game. Or, to be more precise, I’m going with Miami to cover the spread in this one. The Dolphins played terrific last week in beating the Atlanta Falcons, and while the advanced stats have them as a worse team than Baltimore, the gap isn’t as wide as the spread indicates, especially after adding in Miami’s home-field advantage.
My line is Baltimore -1, so the Dolphins plus the points is my best bet for Thursday.
