Los Angeles Dodgers vs Milwaukee Brewers

As these words are being typed, the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers hold a slim 1-0 lead over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of the NLCS. Can the Dodgers follow the Seattle Mariners’ lead and grab two games on enemy turf to kick off their series?
I’m betting (literally) that no, they can’t. Well, they technically could – and they are favored to do so – but I’m still throwing my support behind the Brewers for tomorrow’s Game 2. Only the Philadelphia Phillies and the Toronto Blue Jays had a better home mark than Milwaukee’s 52-29 record at American Family Field, so the odds of Los Angeles winning both games in Brew Town are slim.
Plus, Freddy Peralta is on the bump for the Brewers tomorrow, and the team is 20-13 in games he starts this season. I’ll happily take Milwaukee as a live dog at home as my best bet for Tuesday.
