Dallas Wings vs Minnesota Lynx

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

While there may be a couple of weeks of games left on the WNBA schedule, the Dallas Wings’ season is effectively over. Sitting at 9-31, the Wings will not be seeing postseason play, despite the stellar performance by their star rookie, Paige Bueckers.

Bueckers is on the injury report for tomorrow’s game against the league’s best team, the Minnesota Lynx, but she’s expected to play. However, a bunch of her teammates are doubtful. And the Lynx are 18-2 at home. My line is Minnesota -18.5, so I think the home squad covers this wide spread.

Best Bet: Minnesota -16.5 (-115)

Los Angeles Sparks vs Seattle Storm

Start Time: 10:00 PM EST

Unlike the Wings, the Los Angeles Sparks are in a fight for their playoff lives, currently sitting 2.5 games behind the expansion Golden State Valkyries for the eighth and final playoff spot. Having to play in Seattle on the second night of a back-to-back will not help their cause.

However, the Sparks are a better team on the road, as are the Storm, who are bad at home just like Los Angeles. And the last time these two teams faced each other in Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, the visitors won. I’m eschewing my numbers, and I’m picking the Sparks to cover.
