Being a degen is a core principle of our SGPN family. Well, what’s more degen than sweating out how many 180s will be thrown in a darts match? Or how many kills a player will get in Call of Duty? Allow us to introduce our Degens Only Play of the Day, a pick so obscure, it will have your friends questioning your sanity.
Every day, we scour sportsbooks and DFS sites for that one special play off the beaten path. Today, we turn our attention to the Liga Nacional de Futsal (LNF) in Brazil. Our friends at MyBookie are giving us a fun underdog to cheer for as they close out Round 18 of the season.
Liga Nacional de Futsal Betting Pick: Degens Only Play of the Day
Dracena Over Marreco (+362 via MYBOOKIE)
Tuesday, August 26th, 10:00pm ET
Dracena finds itself second to last on the ladder with just one win and 13 losses on the season. The squad has played to a draw three times this year as well. However, they managed to pick up their first win against Blumenau Futsal within their last five matches. Two weeks ago, they scratched out a 3-3 draw against Futuro. Dracena has held up well at home with three draws, a win and a loss in its last five matches inside the friendly confines of Ginásio Municipal de Esportes Alaor Ferrari.

Marreco is clinging to the 16th and final spot in the battle for promotion. They have six wins and six losses on the season with four draws. The team has lost five of its last seven matches with one draw in that span. On top of that, they have been shut out in their last two matches. They haven’t done well on the road as of late dropping three of their last five outside of Francisco Beltrão.
This game should be closer than the odds dictate. With that in mind, this feels like a prime opportunity for an upset, especially at this price.
Good luck on this and all of your plays today. We’ll be back with another Degens Only Play of the Day tomorrow. While you’re here, check out some of my other contributions to the SGPN.
