Yep, the UFC is about to begin as these words are being typed – we’ve got a 3:00 AM EST Saturday start time as the octagon is across the world in Shanghai. And my winning best bet for tomorrow is coming from the curtain-jerker, so get that bet in ASAP.
The opening fight tonight in Shanghai is a light heavyweight battle between Kazakhstan’s Diyar Nurgozhay and Kyrgyzstan’s Uran Satybaldiev. And Satybaldiev is my play.
The Kyrgyz fighter lost his UFC debut, but it was on short notice and up at heavyweight, and he looked good in it regardless. That was Satybaldiev’s lone career loss, and now that he’s back down at 205 pounds, he’ll have a big size advantage over Nurgozhay, as well as the skill and the high-level experience edges.
And the best part? The line has moved in our favor, and now we’re getting our winning pick for even money.
