We started the weekend right with our NRFI action. Thanks to the likes of Hurston Waldrep and Noah Cameron, we cashed both of our plays for Saturday. Now we’re digging back in to find our NRFI bets for August 10.
We checked out all 15 games and came up with the very best NRFI and YRFI props for August 10. Come check out what we have cooked up for this slate of games.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – August 10
Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves
First Pitch – 1:35 pm EST
Truist Park – Atlanta, GA
Broadcast – MLB TV
We played this series – or at least game one of the double header – on the NRFI. That game cashed nicely for us at underdog prices. We’ll ride it again here thanks to some poor hitting and an underrated pitching matchup.
The Marlins will hit first and they haven’t exactly been crushing the ball. They rank 18th in the league in both run scoring and first inning run scoring. They’ve been a touch worse over their last few games. In Saturday’s double header, they only managed seven runs. If you want to stretch it back another game – they still only had 12. They’ll have to try to get an early one on Joey Wentz, who has been solid since being acquired by the Braves. In those five appearances, he’s posted a 3.08 ERA and has kept three of his last five opponents scoreless.
The Braves were real active during the double header. They scored 15 runs and won both games, but that seems like a mere blip on the radar. They still rank 23rd in the league in terms of runs scored. Now they get Cal Quantrill, who got roughed up bad in his last start. While that isn’t encouraging, he was on an insane run prior to that. His three previous starts saw him allow just one run over 16.0 innings. If he could get back to that version, he should have no problem wrapping this one up for us.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for August 10: No (-115)
Boston Red Sox vs. San Diego Padres
First Pitch – 4:10 pm EST
Petco Park – San Diego, CA
Broadcast – MLB TV
Our later game is a bit riskier on the NRFI thanks to the big offenses on hand. The Red Sox are a top five team in run scoring and they have been hot lately. However, they are going to have to deal with Dylan Cease in order to keep that trend going. Cease has been on a solid run lately, which inlcudes a great outing last time out against the Cardinals. He allowed just one hit and one walk over 5.0 scoreless innings. While you have to worry about the offense, Cease is the right type of pitcher to slow that down.
The Padres have been much worse at the plate and should be an easy route to closing out this NRFI. They are a below average team when it comes to scoring in the first inning and they rank 24th in the majors in scoring runs. Bryan Bello doesn’t make that much easier for them. He’s rocking a 3.03 ERA on the year and has only allowed one earned run in his last two starts (13.0 innings). May was the last time he posted a month-long ERA over 3.00 and he should be able to keep things going against the Padres.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for August 10: No (-125)
