The UFC is back in their home gym, the UFC Apex, this Saturday night for a UFC Fight Night card. But this card was a bit stronger than you normally get when they dish out “Apex slop”. And then the main event of Amir Albazi vs Tatsuro Tairi (reportedly) fell off the card. Sigh. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 108, I’ve got a winning play for a main card featherweight fight. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 108
UFC Fight Night: Albazi vs Taira (aka UFC Vegas 108)
Main Card Start Time: Saturday – 9:00 PM EST – (ESPN/ESPN+)
It was more difficult than I expected to find a play I wanted to give out here, with the fight card in flux as I write this, and plenty of fights that I haven’t solidified my pick of winner in. So I’ve settled on a fight with wider odds than I’d prefer.
That would be a featherweight fight between Danny Silva and Kevin Vallejos. And ‘El Chino’, Vallejos, has got to be the pick. His power is just going to be too much for a guy like Silva, who gets hit too much. Eleven of Vallejos’s 15 pro wins have come via knockout, including three straight.
If this line is too wide for you, take Vallejos inside the distance or via T/KO.
