The UFC heads overseas for to the UAE for an exciting fight card. The headliner features a pair of middleweights – Robert Whittaker and Reinier de Ridder. One will look to gain the throne back and the other is looking to make his run up the division. The UFC Abu Dhabi card is loaded up with incredible fights with some great spots to look for some high-value MMA bets, picks, and predictions.

Prelim Pick of the Week: UFC Abu Dhabi
UFC Heavyweight Fight: Martin Buday vs Marcus Buchecha
Start Time: Saturday (7/26) 12:00pm EST (ESPN+)
While one former ONE FC fighter is looking for glory in the main event, another is on the prelims and just so happens to be one of my favorite spots of the weekend.
Marcus Buchecha makes his UFC debut in Abu Dhabi. While he has a relatively short record in MMA, he has an impressive martial arts resume thanks to his time in jiu jitsu. He’s a multi-time ADCC champ and has dozens of world championships in IBJJF. It’s translated well over to MMA, where he’s beaten all of his opponents with the exception of Reug Reug, who is now the ONE FC heavyweight champ. And he’s done it all by overwhelming his opponents on the mat.
Now he’ll get Martin Buday, who has really not faced anyone with much grappling abilities in the UFC. While Buday has a nice looking record, his best win came against an aged Andrei Arlovski.
Buchecha should be able to get him down and when he does it should be all over quick.
