The Atlanta Dream didn’t come through for me the other day, failing to cover the spread, but I’m going back to the well once more tomorrow. Excuse the pun, but Atlanta is having a dream season, coming out of the gate with a 9-4 record, including 5-1 at home. And they really should be 11-2, as the advanced stats predict they should have only lost two games thus far.
Things are not so dreamy (again with the corny puns) in the Windy City, as the Chicago Sky are struggling once more this season, sitting near the bottom of the league. Plus, they just played on Saturday, so this is a road back-to-back for them, and their veteran All-Star guard Courtney Vandersloot will miss the rest of the season after tearing up her knee.
My line for this game on Sunday is Atlanta -21, so I’m taking the Dream on the spread for my best bet for Sunday.
