With hockey done for the season and the Stanley Cup still residing in Florida, I’m now going to buckle down and nail some baseball prop plays to make this a profitable summer. Los Angeles Angels vs New York Yankees
Start Time: 1:05 PM EST
This has been a disastrous home stand for the New York Yankees, as the Los Angeles Angels have beaten them in the first three games of this series. The Yankees have scored two total runs in the series after being shut out in the first two games.
But I expect at least one Bronx Bomber batter to have a good game on getaway day. That would be veteran Paul Goldschmidt, who in his first season in pinstripes is having the best year since his MVP season with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2022.
And Goldy rakes against the Angels starting pitcher tomorrow, Tyler Anderson, slashing .333/.520/.444 in 25 career plate appearances. I could go with a higher level of difficulty, but instead I’ll be conservative with my play tomorrow and take Goldschmidt over 1.5 total bases.
